Day 01: Arrival in Negombo
Arriving at Colombo airport, you will be transferred to the hotel where you can enjoy the interesting coastal town of Negombo. As the first exercise, you will visit the fishing village and return to rest. Overnight stay in Negombo.
Day 02: Ancient Wonders & The Lion Rock
Commence your adventure by riding north towards Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. En route, consider exploring the ancient city of Anuradhapura or the captivating Dambulla Cave Temple, offering a glimpse into Sri Lanka’s rich history. Arrive in Sigiriya in the afternoon and check into your accommodation. Ascend the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a 5th-century citadel perched atop a massive rock, and marvel at its architectural and engineering marvels.
Day 03: The East Coast Ride Trincomalee
Depart Sigiriya and head towards the serene east coast of Sri Lanka. The scenic ride winds through charming villages and picturesque landscapes, allowing you to witness the authentic Sri Lankan way of life. Reach Trincomalee, a beautiful coastal town boasting a rich history and pristine beaches. In the afternoon, explore Fort Frederick, a historical landmark, or simply unwind on the beach, soaking up the sun and the turquoise waters.
Day 04: Pristine Shores of Pasikudah
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Trincomalee before heading south towards the pristine shores of Pasikudah Beach. The coastal route affords breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, leaving you spellbound. Arrive in Pasikudah and settle into your beachfront accommodation. Spend the rest of the day soaking up the sun, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, or venturing into the nearby lagoons and mangroves to discover Sri Lanka’s diverse ecosystems.
Day 05: Indigenous Heritage & Wilderness
Continue to Dambana, a small village surrounded by beautiful scenery. Take a detour from the main route to visit a village of the Vedda people, an indigenous tribe of Sri Lanka. Learn about their unique culture and way of life, and experience their traditional hospitality. Day 07: Tea Country & White-Water Rapids
Depart Ella and head towards Kitulgala, a renowned destination for white-water rafting adventures. Arrive in Kitulgala in the afternoon and check into your hotel. Day 08: Coastal Return to Negombo
