Day 0 · Arrival in Negombo
Set out on a scenic boat ride through the Negombo Lagoon, taking in the coastal surroundings with a stop to explore Monkey Island. Afterwards, head ashore to discover the rich history of Negombo Fort and immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture at the bustling fish market.
Day 01 · Negombo to Sigiriya
Travel inland from Negombo toward Sigiriya, stopping along the way to explore the remarkable Dambulla Golden Temple cave complex and its ancient Buddhist rock art. Afterwards, complete the drive to Sigiriya and check into your hotel to relax for the rest of the day.
Day 02 · Sigiriya Exploration
Start early with a 5:00 AM climb up the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress to take in the views and explore the ancient summit, followed by an authentic Sigiriya Village Tour to experience local culture and traditional life. Later in the day, opt for a scenic hike up Pidurangala Rock for stunning panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape before returning to your hotel to relax.
Day 03 · Sigiriya to Riverston

Day 05 · Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
