Day 0: Arrival in Negombo.

Arriving at Colombo airport, you will be transferred to the hotel, where you can enjoy the interesting coastal town of Negombo. As the first exercise, you will visit the fishing village and return to rest. Overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 02:

Gomara - Ella

  • The route winds its way through the Knuckles Range, offering breathtaking vistas of valleys, cascading waterfalls, and sprawling tea plantations.

  • Take a break at a local tea factory to learn about the intricate tea- making process and indulge in a taste of Sri Lanka’s finest teas.

  • Continue your ride towards Ella, a charming hill country town celebrated for its picturesque beauty and laid-back ambience.

  • Opt for a scenic train ride on the iconic Ella to Kandy railway, offering unparalleled mountain and countryside views (optional).

  • In the evening, explore the town of Ella, visiting the Ella Gap and Little Adam’s Peak for mesmerising viewpoints.

Day 03:

From Ella to the Savannah of Yala

  • As you descend towards the south coast, the landscape transitions to drier terrain, characterised by scrubland and diverse wildlife reserves.

  • Arrive at Tissamaharama, stay the night in the hotel
